This is not really how to design anything but more like a buyers product guide for various fuel management systems. I was hoping that it would actually dig more into how to properly set up a standalone fuel management system in a conservative fashion so the engine is not damaged during the preliminary test phase.

I have a AEM EMS-4 that I am trying to set up, but I don't want to just SWAG it when it comes to the spark timing and other functions that require careful attention. I thought this book may give some insight for something like that but I was led down the fuel injection garden path

Must-have for Megasquirt Users

This book would have been absolutely invaluable when I was piecing together my Megasquirt setup for my BBC 454. Even though I have it all functioning now, it has still been useful in understanding more of the principles that are going on under the hood so that I can better understand what effects my changes are having. Definitely a rich source of information for the EFI hobbyist. A MUST-HAVE if you are going to build a Megasquirt from the ground-up for an engine.

What you need to know

If your'e just getting started in EFI this book is ideal for you. Covers all the basics from fuel line and sizing to airflow metering and which setup is going to best for your application. Gives a run down and basic listing of most known after-market stand alone EFI systems and what they will allow you to accomplish, making deciding on which unit you want a snap. Where this book shines is from chapter 12 on. Explaining, in enough depth to ensure a number of re-reads, how to configure and tune your engine management system. The detail here is brilliant, giving you a place to start with everything from calculating and finding ideal ignition timing to engine fueling needs in warm-up and acceleration enrichment. There are almost step by step instructions here when you get to the dyno or a track to begin tuning. There are also three system installs in the rear of the book explaining the use of the Megasquirt system on a V8, a turbo MR2 and a Zetec kitcar. The diagrams, tables and photos are of excellent quality. At 150 odd pages it is not surprising how little fill has been required to cover what will get you from an EFI zero to an EFI hero, well maybe not hero but enough to get your vehicle running. Excellent.

THE BEST FOR A FIRST READ!

Enid’s Famous Five books featuring Julian, Dick, George and Anne and Timmy the dog, were the catalyst which encouraged me to start reading more than 50 years ago. Thank you, Enid. The BBC, many public libraries, local authorities and alleged educational experts have been completely wrong about the worth of the Blyton works. I can remember having quite a lot of difficulty obtaining the original books as so many places would not stock them. The stories are great to read for their simplicity and straightforwardness.

When one did find copies of the book they were quite expensive all those years ago but great to own. I loved the letter on the back cover from Enid in some of the editions, and also the physical appearance of the book which I treasured as a youngster with the way the books were produced then which made them somehow much easier to read.

It’s a delight to read the stories again in middle age although recent editing has diminished some of the memories I have of the original editions and words used then (but I am now getting old).

Never mind… these books remain one of my best friends for life: they began my own reading adventure so do read these special adventures for yourselves.

Great love story of Darcy and Lizzy

I loved this story and I also did not find this book hard to read. The author is a great story teller and is kind enough to first share her talent free on a fan site. The book is worth the price.

Truly an enjoyable read

I really enjoyed the story. I was guessing until the end about who was behind all the trouble for Lizzy and Darcy. It was well written, and I have to say that I was sad when I came to the last page and it ended. It was a nice wrap up to the story, but I wanted more. I hope she will write more and continue the story. I enjoyed the other two books she as written. Love's Fool is still my favorite of the 3 books, but I love this story too. It captured my imagination and I felt like I was there moving about with the characters. Truly an enjoyable read.

As he struggles to find his place in this new world, Eric is pushed to the limits of his humanity and wonders if he'll ever find his way back to it again, or if the monster he's becoming will consume him and everyone he loves in its thirst for power and blood.

Right into this story and am not sure if I want the fangs out of my neck. I must be a closet polygamist because I had no program with their relationship. I'm intrigued with the suspense of the vampire dynamics. I'm getting more of the series. Thank you V. R. For the good writing.
